Chinese character learning strategy refers to learners’recognition of Chinese character study and concrete actions or methods contributing to character study improvement.Study on Chinese character learning strategy starts very late,and there is not much outstanding fruit.Meanwhile,nationalized research on Chinese character study strategy is very little and mainly focus on begginer.There is no paper which presents characteristics of study strategy Chinese learners from diffrent levels prefer to use,and less convincing evidence to prove strategy efficiency.Therefor, more thorough and deep empirical studies are higly in demand.Based on previous research,this paper aims at Chinese learners in Krakow Confucius Institute in Poland covering beginning, intermediate and advanced learners at different age which are 78 persons in total,and lauches comprehensive research on Chinese character learning strategy by conducting survey and interview.Collected information and data is sorted and analysed by means of Excel. General features of character strategy would be summarized according to average and module number resulted from valid survey,and focus on comparing 44 specific methods as well as strategies from three levels’learners.Meanwhile,effective strategy would be brought out by comparing successful and failed learners after translating their interviews.This paper would make thoughtful reflection on Chinese character teaching based on the result of research and analysis and come up with practical suggestions for strategy training in order to develop the best teaching method.
