As China’s international influence gradually strengthened, Chinese has been favored by overseas learners, more and more foreign students and overseas scholars to China to learn Chinese, and taking the HSK test for level qualification certificate. NOCFL officially launched the new HSK examination in November 2009. The New HSK(Chinese proficiency test) is a general national standardized test, which can test of non-native Chinese general Chinese ability. It is on the basis of absorbing essence from original HSK, can more accurately evaluate everyone’s real Chinese ability. The test results have direct effect on study, job, and Chinese capacity evaluation. Among them, the new HSK 5 test scores is the measure of undergraduate course graduation. Besides, The listening part is the most difficulty for examinee. So in this paper, with a unique angle of view, I will take the listening part of the New HSK 5 as the breakthrough point, and take the published exam questions as the research object. I will be targeted analyzing the characteristics of the listening part of the New HSK 5, the barriers in examination, the tutoring strategy and teacher problems that should be paid attention to in the tutorial. Through practice for foundation, exam-oriented education, simulation exam questions to help learners meet the New HSK5 listening test by a planned way. It can help to promote learning and teaching through exams.In this paper, the basic content includes five parts: the first part is the introduction, including the significance of selected topic, the research purpose, the present situation, the method and the general situation. The second part discusses the test content and the difficult point of the new HSK 5 listening comprehension. The third part is the analysis of the candidate of the new HSK 5 listening comprehension, including emotion, speed, new words, semantic understanding, examination and culture background differences between obstacles. The fourth part put forward tutoring strategies to meet the New HSK 5 listening comprehension, including three aspects: laying solid foundation of listening and examination skills training and test preparation. The fifth part focuses on problems of the teachers in the new HSK 5 that should be paid attention to in listening teaching and tutoring.
