A Report On The Translation Of Training Documents Of Changchun FAWER-Johnson Controls

With the development of global economic integration and information sharing, more and more joint venture companies realize the importance of the human resources. Training of human resources, the key step of HR management, becomes more and more important as well. Most of the joint venture companies choose to introduce the training documents from their parent company which takes their staff or workers different kinds of concepts and ideas from different culture. This is a new and challenging task for the translator and interpreter.This translation report is an analysis of the writer’s previous translation practice, and ten thousand words are extracted as the sample for analysis. The sample text is chosen from the training documents of financial training prepared for the project managers.This translation report is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is the background and the description of the translation task. The second chapter is the description of the translation process, including the translation plan, the problem and solution. The third chapter is about the case analysis. Several sentences are chosen to study how the translation method and skills are implemented in the translation practice. The last chapter is a summary of this translation mission, which summarize the writer’s gain and some experiences in the translating process. The importance of team work and cooperation is emphasized again in the last chapter. It is necessary for the optimizing of the translation of training documents.
