A Report On The C-E Translation Of The Joint Venture Agreement And The Engineering Project Implementation Procedure

With the development of the international trade, the business contract has become an essential part of the cooperation among the enterprises. The joint venture agreement is one of the common versions; it belongs to the legal text in essence. Apart from this, as the secondary industry, the industry plays an important part in the economic development. The implementation procedures, includes the design procedures, have strong professional technical traits, they have many terminologies, the language of them is unique and has a high logicality. This paper discusses the practice situations of the translation from Chinese to English of the joint venture agreement of TLB and BG and Shengli Oil Authority Well Drilling Engineering Project QHSE Implementation Procedure.The main and difficult point of the report that the author attempt to settle is how to use theory of the communicative translation to formulate appropriate translation techniques, which can be used to guide the whole text.
