Since the 1990s, human society entered the period of rapid development of the information age, which was marked by the rapid development of Information and Communication Technologies(ICTs) and its extensive application. In other countries, the social networking site is one of the areas of ICTs applications in depth, have been used in promulgating government policy, medical information dissemination, business marketing campaigns, social and other personal contact.The Information and Communication Technologies in China started late, but it developed rapidly,and micro-blog due to its well information disseminating effect has gradually gained the consumer market, and it has been the most popular social networking platform at present. So many scientific questions about micro-blog have been concerned, such as the analysis of information diffusion on micro-blog sites is one of the urgent geographic problem need to be solved in order to supplement geography study on virtual "flow space".Sina micro-blog has occupied 69.4% of users and its utilization rates is more than 65% in all types of cities, more than any other micro-blog operators, this means that Sina micro-blog is the most mainstream and the most popular one. Up to September 2015, Sina micro-blog daily active users had reached 100 million. This article choose Sina micro-blog as the example to explore the spatial pattern of information diffusion under the influence of social networking sites,which is typical and representative. Therefore, this article separately acquired Beijing’s and Shijiazhuang’s Sina micro-blog forwarded/comments time and forwarding/reviewer of location data of 2015 by simple random sampling method.Then we put them into use to comparatively analyzed micro-information diffusion levels and intensity, the diffusion scale in provinces,the attractive strength distance-decay regularity and the spacial characteristics of various time periods. This paper we base on the location aim at exploring the micro-information diffusion patterns under the influence of social networking sites.Through the study we find that:First,the hierarchical structure and the range of micro-information diffusion is different between Beijing and Shijiazhuang, the cumulative audience strength in eastern, central andwestern regions was "V" shaped, within the area of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Shijiazhuang’s micro-information diffusion characteristics are significant. Spread rating of Beijing and Shijiazhuang micro-level information were separately five, four, Beijing micro information diffusion hierarchy is more complex. Beijing micro-information diffusion is more nationally; but in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Shijiazhuang micro-information is more regional.The both information sources have the largest audience strength.In the Eastern, Central and Western regions,the cumulative strength of the audience showed a "V", that East and West are two areas affected by more numerous audience than the Central.Second, Beijing, Shijiazhuang two micro-information diffusion range within a province is significantly different, the second diffusion range shrink. In this paper, the province diffusion index reflects the size of the micro-diffusion range of information within the province. The average of first province diffusion index and three regions’province diffusion indexof Beijingis higher than Shijiazhuang micro information.Compared with a small diffusion the secondary province diffusion index mean of both micro information, are respectively smaller; the second province in the diffusion index of 0.5 or more the number of provinces were also less than a diffusion time.Third, Beijing, Shijiazhuang micro-information’s audience unevenly distributed within a province, mostly concentrated in the capital city. Urban audience than the intensity (R2) reflect a balanced distribution of the audience within one province, while it is greater than or equal to 2 represent for the audience distribute unevenly in this province, the two micro-information’R2 value is greater than or equal to 2 provinces respectively 17 and 21, where audience is concentrated in the capital city of the provinces is respectively 16 and 15.Fourth, in both real and virtual spaces the types of micro-information distance decay are mainly the significant attenuation type, but the virtual time to break the distance attenuation spatial pattern of micro-information in the real distance. Under reality distance, the two micro-information were 19 audience provinces as distance attenuation significant type; in virtual time distance, the micro-information audience provinces as distance attenuation significant proportional are the largest, respectively,41.94% and 63.33%.In real space, Beijing micro-information from the spatial pattern of attenuation is the center of the ringstructure while Shijiazhuang micro-information the spatial pattern of attenuation is Hebei centered southeast-northwest symmetrical pattern. Virtual space, the attraction from the two types of micro-information decay pattern was symmetrical pattern to the north and south of the center of Qinghai and Shaanxi-Shanxi administrative boundary between the middle of things symmetrical pattern.Fifth, the two micro-information diffusion both have obvious time Nagao characteristics, the audience concentrated and range of diffusion is big in Focus Stage. Beijing, Shijiazhuang micro-diffusion process can be divided into Focus Stage, Plummeted Stage, Fluctuation Stage and Gentle stage, and the Gentle Stage is longest.The number of audience and scope of the two micro-information are the biggest in Focus stage. Since then, over time, the number of declining audiences, the diffusion range is gradually shrinking.
