Chinese have a lot of homophones, so homophones are very important, but it is very difficult for teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, and in our foreign language classroom, it is not pay attention to teach homophones, so homophones should be classified in the actual classroom, this will provide some theoretical direction for Chinese characters teaching, at the same time, we should pay attention to teach homophones in teaching Foreign Language classroom. At present, some experts just to research homophones classification, homophone textbooks and Combined with the dynamic composition corpus to study homophones, There are few experts to research homophones teaching. Therefore, it shall be of great theoretical significance and practical value to conduct some researches in this aspect.Currently, many universities are using the Comprehensive Development of Chinese Textbooks, this books have six textbooks. It is a comprehensive teaching material, it is included reading, listening, writing and so on, this books involve a lot of homophones, this article will study on classification.Based on the studies about the theory of teaching design, homophones teaching research, and studying on classification, this article showed the significance of the teaching of TCFL. Furthermore, this article also introduced the teaching objective, the teaching important points, the difficult points, the teaching methods and teaching content. Finally, I will put forward limitations of homophones teaching of Chinese as a foreign language and corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. This article can provide certain reference basis for the teaching of homophones for advanced foreign students.
