With the development of the communicative teaching theory, the task-oriented language teaching is a method to convert the basic idea of language's application into the teaching way with practical meaning. While, task-based teaching has absorbed the essence of communicative teaching, focusing on student's learning and advocating the accomplishment of tasks with meanings and use of target language in the learning process. From the very beginning, the task-based teaching has attracted much attention and emphasis of linguists and teachers around the world. Since the task-based teaching was introduced into China in 1990s, deep research and study on it has been made in Chinese teaching profession, and practice on the task-based teaching has been gradually carried out in teaching English as foreign language (TEFL), afterwards making remarkable achievements. However, as to teaching Chinese as foreign language (TCFL), also the second language teaching, the theoretical research, study and teaching practice on task-based teaching applied in TCFL has been developed in the beginning stage.Beginning with the general description on developing history of task-based teaching and the current international task-based teaching ideas, this thesis combines the relevant theories with the TCFL teaching modes in operation, and analyzes the practicability and feasibility of task-based teaching in grammar teaching of TCFL. Meanwhile, on the basis of deep study on tasks'design, evaluation, etc., a series of survey and practice on how to manage to introduce task-based teaching into TCFL have been complemented, and finally the comparatively feasible and practical combination of task-based teaching and grammar teaching of TCFL has been achieved.
