The Research Of Citizen’s Environmental Moral Ability

Since the industrial revolution occurred, handcraft industry has been taken over, which comes with massive economy growth, but also increasingly resources consumption and socialized air and water pollution. Hence the unbearable environment condition is becoming the world problem and the ecological environment situation is getting worse, which not only threatens other species survival but also human being’s sustainable development. The nature has already set the alarm for human beings so that we have to rethink the relationship between humans and the nature. People have to cease themselves in passively being adapted to the nature and band the actions of being resisting with the nature, and try their best to find the way to improve the severe environment in harmonious survival condition, which require people to fully develop their moral activities. Therefore, the research for environmental moral education ability becomes vital and urgent.This paper sees “environmental moral ability”as the main string, introducing through three parts. First part discusses the relationships between the citizen’s environmental moral ability and the environmental condition. It starts from historical research that reveals how the relationship changing between environment and humans’ survival, and points out that the current severe environmental condition triggers the direct social force of environmental moral ability coming into being. From this point,this part researches the compositions of citizen’s environmental moral ability which consists of environmental moral willing and sensual ability, cognition and judge ability and action or non-action ability.Second part states the conditions for forming citizen’s environmental moral ability.One condition is the precondition that includes natural basis,humanity soil and individual requirements of forming citizen’s environmental moral ability. The other one is social condition that involves the valuable orientation, system standardization and public opinion guidance of forming citizen’s environmental moral ability.The third part mainly discuss about measures of how to improve citizen’s environmental moral ability. In this part, with the scope of politics, marketing andeducation, research will be done to improve social power of citizen’s environmental moral ability, point out how to build good politic environment and vivid and live marketing system, and improve education to revive human nature which could be seen the vital social measure of updating citizen’s environmental moral ability. From the social background, next comes with individual measure of how to improve citizen’s environmental moral ability, which includes how to improve citizen’s environmental moral willing, moral sensual ability, how to deal with environmental events and moral judge ability when dealing with environmental events, and how to take care of environment during daily life.
