| The name of Kuahuqiao Culture has been given for more than 10 years. The academic circle conducts a comprehensive research on this archaeological culture from multiple perspectives.However, there are still controversies in academic circle about the time, nature and origin of the Kuahuqiao Culture. In recent years, the new sites of Kuahuqiao Culture have emerged, so it is necessary to reframe the cultural nature, connotation, and different time division.Based on the Kuahuqiao Site, combined with material released about the site of Xiaohuangshan, Shangshan, Hehuashan, and Qingdui, this paper researches the different time division of Kuahuqiao Culture.Meanwhile, it puts forward the author’s view of the questions about the origin of Kuahuqiao Culture.In the first chapter, it is about the discovery and research of Kuahuqiao Culture. It gives an introduction of the discovery, naming process and the research review of the Kuahuqiao Culture. At the same time, it provides the research method and goal of this paper.In the second chapter, it is about the analysis of typical ruins of Kuahuqiao Culture. At the beginning, it divides the pottery unearthed in2001 and 2002 according to its style and shape so as to finish the division of Kuahuqiao section. Taking this as the basis, it makes comparison with the excavation area unearthed in 1990, and sites of Shangshan,Xiaohuangshan, Hehuashan and Qingdui. At the same time, the sites of Hehuashan and Qingdui and the part, which doesn’t belong to the Kuahuqiao Culture, in ruins of Shangshan and Xiaohuangshan are rejected.The third chapter is about the time division and era. Based on the study in Chapter 3, the Kuahuqiao Culture is divided into three phases and the specific time of every phase is confirmed.The fourth chapter is about the origin of Kuahuqiao Culture. The author reviews and exams the origin of Kuahuqiao Culture defined in academic circle before, and then argues that the Kuahuqiao Culture is originated from Xiaohuangshan Culture.The fifth chapter is conclusion. It concludes the achievements of this paper and also demonstrates the shortcomings in this paper. |
