Body cleaning behavior refers to the psychological and behavioral tendencies of cleaning bodies in order to eliminate the negative feelings generated by unethical behavior. Some researchers believe that religious belief is an important variable quantity to affect body cleaning behavior, but has not been supported by empirical research. In this study, Tibetan high school students with religious belief and Han high school students without religious belief are chosen to investigate the relationship between religious belief and body cleaning by adopting four experiments. In the first two experiments, whether religious belief will affect the body cleaning expectation has been investigated from explicit and implicit behaviors; in the second two experiments, whether religious belief will affect the subsequent effect of body cleaning has been studied from the perspective of moral judgment and helping behavior. The results show that: 1. In the task of object selection, after the memory of unethical incident, Tibetan testees are found to have the preference of selecting clean objects; however, Han testees are not found to have such kind of preference. 2. In the task of implicit experiment, when the concept words related to cleaning and morality appear together, people’s reaction speed is faster, however, there is no difference among Tibetan students and Han students. 3. More strict and hash moral judgments have been provided after body cleaning behavior, but there is no difference among Tibetan and Han students. 4. There is few helping behavior after body cleaning behavior, but there is no difference between Tibetan and Han students.
