As the name suggests, the board game is the game on the desktop, with its unique charm the game is more and more popular in the big city of our country, become the teenagers, urban white-collar workers entertainment and make friends of the new favorites. However, in our country the board game is still in the introduction, improvement, sales stage, self design and development is not mature, users of this game are also is the minority groups, economic benefits and market scale can not be compared with the developed countries in Europe and America. But research shows that the game will have varying degrees of stimulation and promoting to children’s senses and social cognition, so this paper choose children as the research object, combining the design concept and children’s toys board games, which makes the traditional children’s toys to change a person to use more involved, more pliability, interactive and entertainment, make toys to play a positive role in assisting the intelligence development and physical and mental development in the child’s life. At the same time give board game new carrier and life, design focus on the game props, make the board game privatization and toy, more likely to be low lead children to accept, thus expanding the board game user in China.The thesis uses many kinds of research techniques, using literature retrieval method to summarizing the theory, provide the basis for the research; understand the development of board game toys at home and abroad through market analysis, market and user needs; through the product analysis and analogy method to find the products accord with the research, object of the class than the disadvantages for design ideas; finally conduct the feasibility study through the practice of induction, break through the framework of pure theory provides a practical basis for the study of.In this paper, as a research on children’s board games toys design, positioning children’s design for the user, and clarifies the study background, purpose and significance of the study found. First, from the concept of toys and board games classification and characteristic, will range from large to small layers of comb, find their useful and easy to combine part, direction and theme of the research is clear. Secondly, through the study of classic case of inquiry board enduring basis and cultural and artistic value, find the design their commonalities and popular trend of contemporary popular board game product comparison. Finally through the design thinking and design method of the study to the theory into the design and development of practice with children’s psychological needs and characteristics, find the problems of the design and development, and provide the solutions and suggestions, provide certain theoretical basis and practical experience for domestic children’s board game design and the development of the industry.
