According to China’s economic, cultural and other growing potential in the world arena, in recent years the position of China has gradually increased, Chinese language has been becoming more and more popular, there are more and more learners of Chinese language, that’s why recently there has been a tendency of growing number of foreign students in China, China’s growing power makes more and more foreigners learn Chinese language. Number of coming to Chinese schools foreign students is increasing every year, this number includes a large number of students, whose mother tongue is Russian language. In recent years, China, Russia and the Central Asian countries have very close contact. Now we can see a strong support of these countries’ governments, which give a great opportunity for a lot of foreign students to come to China, in order to study Chinese language and Chinese culture. This article, from the pedagogic and linguistic point of view, focuses on the background of Russian-speaking students, who are learning Chinese language.This article is divided into five chapters.In the first chapter, the problem is explained on the basis of article research significance and methods described here, as well as the current status of research.The second chapter is focusing on specific questions of learning Chinese language, by aspects of material researching, through plenty of examples and analysis, summary of Russian-speaking foreign students’ problems, questions and obstacles during the process of learning Chinese language.The third chapter includes the problems above, combined with the investigation and learning experience, pointing out the current cognitive difficulties mainly due to the process of learning Chinese language by Russian-speaking students.The fourth chapter of the article includes the teaching Strategies of Chinese language for students whose native language is Russian, the strategies are combined with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience, to explore the ways of learning Chinese language by Russian-speaking students and the teaching strategies.The fifth Chapter of this article makes a conclusion, summarizing all statements and information above.
