Application OF Variation In Technical English Interpretation From The Perspective Of Skopos Theory

The fast development of technical interpretation is coming with the rapid growth of economy. With the increased number of international business activities, people pay more attention to the emergence of technology products. Some foreign companies promote their products at the first time in different languages to draw attention from people around the world, which create favorable conditions for the development of technology English. Therefore, the study of technology English interpretation conforms to the real need.Apple product launches draw attention from people from all walks of life, and it is meaningful to study about its simultaneous interpretation. In this paper, the author analyzes the simultaneous interpretation of 2015 Apple product launches through three translations methods--addition, omission and alteration, classify the sentences and find its advantages and disadvantages step by step. All of these give reference to the following study.In accordance with the analysis and study of the simultaneous interpretation, the author draws three conclusions as follows:first, it is workable to apply variation to translation from the perspective of Skopos Theory. Variation can help the translators achieve the expected goals. Second, variation theory can help the translators deliver the information. Technology English is mainly for the delivery of information, not for the complete translation. Complete translation will only overload the translators, while variation will deliver the information better. Third, the variation strategy can give guanidine to the practice from the perspective of Skopos Theory. Because of the accidents in the simultaneous interpretation process, the proper application of variation strategies can make sure the simultaneous interpretation process efficiency.
