The royal ancestral shrine system generally after three times of change at Qin& the former Han era.The first is in Second Emperor of Qin period.In order to adapt to the change that Qin from the state to the empire,the royal ancestral shrine system had been programmed,by the royal court,that they not only follow the classical seven-temple system,but also made the temple of Qin Shi Huang on the top position.This programme showed the political culture of the unification period,such as the supreme imperial power, the relation of legality to following traditional and the benthamism of Qin.The second change had built a new system in the early of the Han dynasty.Firstly,the empire abandoned the traditional Zhao-Mu system and the ancient number of temple.Besides,it started the new system is that built the royal ancestral shrine at the fief and prefecture. Secondly,the etiquette of royal ancestral shrine had become more complex and different from the ancient.From the political cultural point of view,started this new and specific royal ancestral shrine system showed the governor’s attitude of Li.Meanwhile,this system related to the culture of Xiao and it also related to the history of enfeoffrnent in that period.The second change had began in the period of Han Yuan Di.This reform of royal ancestral shrine system had completed at the period of Han Cheng Di.But it still had some change at the end of the former Han dynasty.This reform happened at the historical background that the political culture had been confucianistized which started at the period of Han Yuan Di.Because of the confucianistize,the reform started, in the name of heaven and The sacred ancient,which included the reform of royal ancestral shrine system.In this reform,we not only found the literati and officialdom’s pursuit of Tao,but also found the attitude of Han Wen DI & Han Wu Di in the ruling class at the confucianistize background.
