Researches On The Traditional Villages’ Culture Inheritance In The Construction Of New Towns

Nowadays, with the modernization process speding up, the inheritance of traditional village culture not only has the historic opportunities of development but also faces the challenges of modernization, in the construction of new towns. It is an important issue how to face the challenges of the age, catch the historic opportunities, and effectively pass on the traditional village culture, under the current situation of the continuous decline, extinction and the gradual cultural shock of traditional villages in the construction of new towns.Till now, many scholars have studied traditional villages from the aspects of traditional architecture protection, village programme, renovation of civilian residential housing, village landscape, leisure tourism, and so on. This paper aims to study the issue of traditional villages in the construction of new towns from the point of cultural heritance. With the perspective of Marxism and Sinicization of Marxism, this paper makes good use of Marxism development concept, and theories of coordinated development, organic renewal, cultural consciousness, the construction of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.This paper makes a brief account and reviews the historic development of our country’s traditional village culture’s inheritance. With Fujian Province’s situation, it explores the present situation and the difficulties of traditional village culture’s inheritance. What’s more, it analyses the reasons for those difficulties. Then, based on the analysis of the reasons, it puts forward solutions from the six points of organic renewal, cognitive reconstruction, overall planning, coordinated development, overall layout and strategies promotion.
