Conflicts Caused By Square Dancing And The Solution Strategies From The Perspective Of Social Conflict Theory

At present, square dance gets the favor from many people with its unique interest and mass in the process national vigorous fitness. However, square dance is constantly opposed by the surrounding residents in the present stage of development process, which even causes the serious conflicts. Based on the conflict theory of western society, the paper analyzes the present situation and the conflict root of the square dance and establishes conflict model with literature material method, questionnaire survey method, interview method, field survey method and mathematical statistics method, besides, the corresponding solution strategies are put forward for the social conflicts phenomenon caused by the square dance.Social conflict theory is able to face the social reality, which is of great significance to promote social integration and benign operation. The research focus is the group conflict, therefore, social conflict theory can provide strong theoretical basis for the square dance conflict. Social conflict theory provides us with an important theoretical perspective to help us break the mindset, and view square dance conflict dialectically.It is found from this study that the reasons for the square dance conflict are as follows:1. Most of the participants are older women with low education level, and the citizen quality needs to be ascended. The surrounding opponents have relatively weak legal awareness, so violent conflicts are easy happen under the background of unsuccessful negotiation.2. The aging population of our country is increasing day by day, and the fitness way is very lack of diversity.3. The venue is scarce, difficult to meet the demand of mass fitness.4. The competition for resources is strong, which is difficult to meet the expected effect.5. Currently laws and regulations about noise pollution lag, and the law enforcement body is unknown.6. Chinese love lively cultural traditionThis study suggests that:1. Strengthen the guidance of the main body, balance the rights and interests of residents from noise pollution and the rights and interests of residents’ fitness, and strengthen the education of citizen rights and obligations.2. Integrate the residents and the scattered field of square to meet the needs of mass fitness, leisure, entertainment, and maximize the ability of community sports service.3. Perfect the laws and regulations of the public sports facilities, develop management regulations for the community’s sports facilities, and collaborate jointly by the involved law enforcement departments.4. Strengthen the introduction of technologies.
