Among the many annotations about Du Fu’s poetry in the Song dynasty, Shi Gu’s Annotation appears a lot in the important variorums about Du Fu’s poetry, and was inherited and developed by other noters or annotations. However, an comprehensive research about Shi Gu’s Annotation has not appeared.The paper sets Shi Gu’s Annotation as the research object, according to the Wangzhuangyuan Jibaijiazhu Biannian Dulingshishi, meanwhile, referring the several other Song dynasty’s variorums. On the base of 888 pieces of Shi Gu’s Annotation, try to give it a more comprehensive and objective cognition. It mianly includes the research of Shi Gu’s life experiences and the relevant persons, the discussion on the characteristics and the authenticity of Shi Gu’s Annotation. Finally, explain its influence in the Du poetry’ annotation history. Hoping through the analysis, not only make a comprehensive and just understanding about Shi Gu’s Annotation, but also cause the attention of researchers on the annotation about Du Fu’s poetry in the Song dynasty, thus further promote the development of the history research of Du Fu’s poetry.
