A Tentative Study On The Image Of Enlightened Officials In "San Yan" And "Qing Shi" Of Feng Menglong

"Qing Shi" and "San Yan" compiled by Feng Menglong is an outstanding representative of Popular Fiction and Literature, Classical stories " Qing Shi " continue the tradition since the Wei and Jin Sketchbooks historical style, flaunt it with its genuine story, the attitude of historians to write notes. As for the way of artistic expression, its story is more like a literary sketchbook, it lacks people morphology and psychological description, also the particularly extravagant plot development, but it values highly during the ancient Chinese Sketchbooks development process, it’s a huge cultural heritage. Vernacular stories "San Yan" initiate the peak era of ancient Chinese vernacular fiction and popular novels; it has far-reaching impact on future generations. With the emergence of Feng Menglong literature, many scholars start academic study of Feng’s great literature and gain impressive achievements; they cover his life course, research traceability, themes, creative concept, artistic value, novel techniques, characters and other aspects of the propagation effects. Looking at the above situation of academic research, I found that as the popular fiction novels and notes both the master of Feng Meng, and two novels set continuity inheritance and development, Research on the various types of characters of the "Qing Shi" and "San Yan" are fruitful, but the overall characteristics are relatively simple and fragmented, and it still leaves blank when comes to the comparative study of the characters from combination of vertical and horizontal point of view. So, then I attempt to make comparative analysis the enlightened officials group in "Qing Shi" and "San Yan", studying their feature characters in the novel, excavating culture of their important role in the novel. This paper is divided into the following five chapters:The first chapter mainly introduces the relevant academic achievements and historical research status by modern scholars, and excavates the involved enlightened officials, also discusses the reason of appearance of enlightened groups and clearly defines the concept "enlightened officers".The second chapter mainly focuses on the social background and cultural soil for"Qing Shi" and "San Yan”, illustrate the necessity and significance of the two books.The third chapter introduces the legendary journey of Feng Menglong, study his literature creation- literature and fiction characters of "love to teach sense".The forth chapter classify all official characters in "Qing Shi" and "San Yan", and do in-depth comparison and analysis of the enlightened officials, and then appreciate similar characters with different language styles, create a unique aesthetic appeal for the image of the enlightened officials.The fifth chapter discusses the causes and significance of enlightened officials, combine with its "Love Teachings" of literature creation and enlightened public officials own property, reflect of the social reality of today’s society and officials...
