Xie Tiao was a prominent poet in the history of Chinese literature, was also a controversial scholarin the history of Chinese literature. In the beginning of Southern Dynasty, critics in the past dynasties launched a comprehensive and multi angle discussion on him and his poems; however, because of different ideas, aesthetic taste and literary taste, making the research of Xie Tiao had characteristics of the times and personal characteristics. In order to promote the study of Xie Tiao’s poetry, it is necessary for us to discuss some previous interpretations or understanding.This paper tries to base on ancient Poetry Review as basis, From the perspective of literary reception history,to playback the basic research of Xie Tiao poetry. And extract a more representative view in order to form and elaborate on their own understanding.This paper is divided into five parts:The first chapter is the analysis about subject creation in Xie Tiao poetry in the ancient poetry criticism.Xie Tiao’s early life was relatively affluent,the poetry is the performance of the toofficial leisurely.He was into a political vortex later and the experience of life is more twists and turns.He was full of emotion, so Xie Tiao’s emotional world is rich which influenced the poetry creation of the subjectivity of the play.Critics noted that Xie Tiao has a habit of writing in the mountaineering.And that lyric style has been inherited in the progeny of Landscape Poetry."Shi Shi" "Shuo Shi Zui Yu""Zhao Mei Zhan Yan"and so on pointed out that Xie Tiao inheritanced and played the analogy way in Shi Jing.In the landscape poetry creation, the emotion and the scene should be blended. The lyric style have profound influence on generations of poetic creation.The second chapter explains the ancient poetry criticism about Xie Tiao’s poetic language rhythm.Yong Ming-style was relative of ancient poetry,paying attention to rhythm and dualityits is main feature,Yong Ming-style was good at using rhythm.Shen Yue and Zhong Rong thought Xie Tiao’s poems is a representative among Yong Ming-style poets which gets later Poetry comments’agreement.At the same time, critics also paid attention to Xie Tiao’s Five character Poetry.Xie Tiao’s poems had a huge impact on Tang Dynasty poetry because Xie Tiao has higher achievement on five character poetry. Some critics thought Xie Tiao’s poems was also"has good sentence no good chapter" in the overall impression of the Six Dynasties Poetry.In the light of detailed textual research,we find that the ancient poetry comments agreeed Xie Tiao’s poetic language,such as mellow language and precise meaning,ingenious language, Tactfully and deep language,fluent in writing and so on.The third chapter discusses the ancient poetry criticism about Xie Tiao’s poetry composition structure and expression technique. A representative point of view is that Xie Tiao’s poetry has a characteristic of "good at writing at the beginning".But this characteristic is mixed in past dynasties.From Xie Tiao’s poetry"good at writing at the beginning but is weak in the end" been proposed for the first time to "Si Ku Quan Shu" was against with it which thought high belittle orpraise is not reasonable to Xie Tiao and his poetry.For Xie Tiao’s poetry expression techniques, critics paid more attention to combining the actual situation of artistic skills and writing technique of real depiction of object closly.The fourth chapter accustomed to the evaluation of the ancient poetry criticism about Xie Tiao’s poetry artistic style. Style refers to the world accustomed to the literary concept of strip,which requires some factors in the creation of literature and embodys his own literary talent.Xie Tiao’s style was limbed with turbulent life experience and undulating social environment.From the scattered in ancient poetry review analysis can be seen, whether critics was sure of the style like nature itself--highest quality in Tang Dynasty or was sure of plain style in Song Dynasty,or critics was sure of beauty and light style in Ming and Qing Dynasty.quiet and exquisite has almost become a general impression of the ancient critics of Xie Tiao’s poetic style.The fifth chapter discuss how the theory of projectile which is the standard of evaluation of good poem evoluted as the Song Dynasty "Huofa" theory.Xie Tiao ever proposed "good poetry is as beautiful as the projectile" theory,if poetry can achieve "as beautiful as the projectile",should has orderly structure,fluent language, rhyme and beauty, artistic conception.The later poets uesd projectile allusion as Constant reference and made mellow theory into poetry evaluation standard. In Song dynasty,Lv Benzhong Quoted Xie Tiao said pointing to poor clever wonderful poetry in "Xia Jun Fu Ji Xu",and then was able to flow round which was so-called Flexible approach,and put forward "There are rules that can be out of the rules." so produced "Huofa" theory. "Huofa" theory got Liu Kezhuang, Yang Wanli and so on nherited,and extened,so it was maturited.It can be said,Song dynasty completed refining of Xie Tiao’s poetry aesthetic paradigm, the projectile theory had become "Huofa" theory.
