Ideology And Strategy Research Of Zhu Yuan-Zhang To The Yuan Dynasty

This paper systematically studied the strategy and ideology of Zhu Yuan-zhang from Yuan to Ming dynasty.The first chapter discusses the situation of the late Yuan Dynasty and Zhu Yuan-zhang’s life experience beofore he joined the peasants’army. Also, it uses the war to Yuan Empire as the key to discuss the characteristics and evolution of Zhu’s strategy and position to Yuan Dynasty in different processes before the Northern Expedition under various millitary and political environment.In second chapter, the war to Yuan Empire and North Yuan organized by Zhu Yuan-zhang is mainly also the key. This chapter discussed process of the Northern Expedition and the war to North Yuan. It also discusses Zhu’s strategies of war to Yuan and North Yuan and the communication to each class and group to Yuan and North Yuan.The third chapter explores Zhu’s worldview and the change of his position to Yuan and Mongolia. Also, it analyzes his ideology to Yuan, including the destiny viewpoint, conception of legitimacy and Yi-Xia view.
