Research On The Teaching Of Private Middle School In Chongqing During The Anti Japanese War

Before the Anti-Japanese war broke out,the education of Chongqing middle School was backward because it was restricted by the subjective and objective conditions. Besides, public and private schools is not balanced in developing. Under the circumstance that the government doesn’t have ability to hold large-scale education,private schools makes up for the defect that public school cannot accommodate a large number of students because of the limited scale, which plays an important role in promoting the development of education. After founding Republic of China, the Ministry of Education published a series of policies and measures to encourage to set up in lower class society.The number of private schools gradually increased.From the founding of the Republic of China to the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, the great changes of Chongqing private school have taken place in aspect of education and teaching scale, school system, school administration, curriculum and other aspects.Not only can middle school education provide the opportunity for the primary education to continue their study, but also it can cultivate the talents for the middle education.Therefore, each session government has always paid much more attention to the teaching of middle School education in Chongqing.After the outbreak of the Anti Japanese War, the national government moved to Chongqing. Chongqing has become the political, economic, military and cultural center.The prosperity of the economy, the increase of population and the gathering of educators in Chongqing have promoted the development of private middle school education and teaching.During the period of the Anti-Japanese war, private middle schools in Chongqing improve education teaching system under the guidance of the education teaching principle and policy of the national government. The existence and development of private middle schools make education of middle schools flourishing in Chongqing area.Chongqing private friends high school has the typical representative in teaching.Chongqing people pay much more attention to this school from its building to the period of the Anti-Japanese war due to its good teaching effect and strict management.The school is famous for the outstanding quality of teaching.During the period of Anti-Japanese War, the teaching of Chongqing private schools achieved great development. On one hand, it shows the development of Chongqing private middle school education and teaching is inseparable from the support of national government and the lower class society.on the other hand,it also shows if a school wants to improve the quality of teaching, it must have much more teaching resources and the strict management system.This paper researches further to teaching of private middle school in Chongqing by taking Chongqing friends high school as an example during the Anti-Japanese war. The author tries her best to restore original situation of the private middle school teaching.And the author hopes that this research on this topic in a deeper level can provide a reference for the current teaching reform of private schools.
