During the Anti-Japanese War in eight years,Hu Feng consciously took up the banner of inheritance Lu Xun’s spirit,also insisted on writing articles on Lu Xun’s every anniversary memorial of Lu Xun,and interpretation of Lu Xun’s spirit of uninterrupted. More important,even though in this extraordinarily difficult process,Hu Feng faced lot of pressure from the complicated social environment and literature controversy,but he didn’t stop to explore the path of China’s literary for healthy development.With the advent of the 1940 s,Hu Feng’s literary theory has become more mature,he deeply comprehended the regular pattern of literature and society.This paper in eight-year war period as the time range,I try to seek Hu Feng persists and carry forward Lu Xun’s spirit from the following three aspects,firstly,Hu Feng’s memorial of Lu Xun.Secondly,Hu Feng’s own literary theory exploration.Thirdly,Hu Feng’s literary practice.The breaking of Japan’s war of aggression make a big challenge to literary tradition in the May Fourth Movement.At the meantime,from the spiritual level,the people were face with huge spiritual crisis.Hu Feng attempted building the healthing national spirit by advocating the spirit of enlightenment from Lu Xun.In 1940 s,Hu Feng gradually built up his own theory of literature and art by interpreting LuXun’sspirit.Furthermore,Hu Feng established distinctive theories as thetheory of subjecti- ve spiritual struggleand Spiritual wound by enslavement.After Hu Feng deeply understanding of the spirit of Lu Xun,he practice it by producing literary works and editorial publication,also inculcate Lu Xun’s spirit when he brought up the July School,makes possible the continuation of the spirit of Lu Xun deepening development.
