With the advancement of urbanization, a large number of floating population have moved into cities, their urban living were carried out in multiple areas. Based on the research dimension of religious faith for the floating population, this research focuses on their religious practices in spatial perspective. It mainly used the method of interview and participant observation to analyse characteristics of religious space, spatial practices and interactions between space and actors etc. The author has carried on the qualitative research of Temple X and Y church in Shanghai, and had interviews with a part of the floating population.Shanghai has attracted a large number of floating population, a certain proportion of them are religious believers, their religious practices are be continued in the new time and new space. There are also some floating population choose the religious faith when they encounter discomforts or troubles in the process of adaptation to city, they hope to get some resources for meeting their needs. Floating population enter into the religious space on account of the Transmission of resources in network and the current situation of "disease".As the main actor of the space, the group of believers strengthened the religion identity in the participation of religious rituals, and established connections through interpersonal social contacts. They build the "family" situation to strengthen the sense of belonging of religious space, the floating population of religious space moved the experience of daily life into the space in varying degrees. Religious space is not only has the value of the physical location, but also is a social practice space of floating population which was constructed by themselves.The floating population entered into the religious space, their social actions changed the characteristics, structure, and the meaning of this space, they gave utility and function to the space. The religious space provides the " marginal " floating population with effective "shelter", and gives compensation to meet the various requirements, then they find a new path. In the strange city. But at the same time, it is important to note the consequences of spatial segregation, the space turns to a closed one.
