Study On Han Hu And His Poetry In The Southern Song Dynasty

Han Hu is the famous poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. Even though the man comes of a good family, he never pursue the fame and wealth, even to be an officer. Han Hu was a pure poet that had a high-minded and pure ambition so that he put all his life into the poetic creation when he lived in Shang Yao for more than twenty years. Among the poets of Southern Song Dynasty,there are quite lot of poetic works left by Han Hu. His poetic theme and content were very large and widely. Comparing with others poets living the same period or after that, Han Hu’s poetic works all be the superb. In Fang Hui’s poem, he made a list of the poet with great achievements in poetry after the era of Xiaozong Qian dao and Chunxi, and the Han Hu must be one of them.Therefore, he had got a significant position and made a great influence in the history of poetry in Southern Song Dynasty.This article can be divided into four parts. The part of introduction mainly introduces Han Hu, the situation and the value of research of his poetry. The first chapter discusses his family background and his experience. The second chapter is about his way to make friends. The third part is the key to make a classified study on his poetic materials, and analysis the poetry background evolution that Han Hu lived, his artistic style of poetry and its origin.
