Sand-fired pot, which has transformed from general utility tool into collectable artwork, is the pride of Yixing, for it is famous for its unique aesthetic characteristics and culture connotation. Jun-glazed pottery is another great artwork of Yixing whose craftsmanship is worth studying, and it forms its unique style due to its long history, unique decoration tactics and colorful glaze.Yixing is the important pottery town of China, and its manufacturing technology of purple clay pottery and Jun-glazed pottery take important position in Chinese manufacturing technology, and hence it is of significance to promote pottery technology of Modern Yixing purple clay pottery and Jun-glazed pottery. The study of the essay is based on the analysis of literature material and supported by a large number of field survey data, thus making the literature base solid.The introduction discusses the foundation and meaning of the topic, summarizes the research situation at home and abroad, presents the research methods and technical routines, and studies the research objective, research content and innovation.
