Exploring The New Pattern Of Fish Patterns In Yixing Junpottery Stack Applique

YiXing Jun-glazed pottery decals are traditional and unique in Yixing,and are used in the decorative techniques of the surface of the pottery,which are both muddy and embossed.In the traditional pattern of Jun-glazed pottery,"fish" is a common and representative type of subject.The motif of the fish is a classic expression object in the ancient Chinese ceramic decorative patterns.The fish-shaped patterms appearing in ceramic decoration can be traced back to the Neolithic Age.The fish pattern contains the image of auspiciousness in traditional culture.It is an artistic symbol that has been processed through human collective consciousness and has universal symbolic meaning.The content of this paper is divided into two parts.In the first part,the author selects the fish-shaped pattern in folk art as the entry point,and uses intuitive graphic comparison to discuss the nuances between the stacking techniques.Explore the artistic motivation and environmental factors that result from this difference.The aims to understand the trend of creation and development of fish-shaped patterns in decoration of the YiXing Jun-glazed pottery applique from a microscopic perspective.The second part is about the practice of techniques.Based on my own thinking in the process of graduation work,I hope to use and develop the decorative techniques of YiXing Jun-glazed pottery decals to explore the Innovative schema of fish-shaped pattern in contemporary ceramic art.
