The Research Of Auxiliary Verbs In Jing De Chuan Deng Lu

This objective of this dissertation is to study those auxiliary verbs in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu, base on Lyons (1977) about the definition of modality, mainly adopt Palmer (1990; 1986/2007) on the classification of the modal model, take the auxiliary verbs into the category of modal. This paper adopts the perspective of syntactic and diachronic level to analyze the different kinds of auxiliary verbs in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu. There are seven parts in this Paper:The first chapter of this dissertation is an introduction. The first section introduces the research summary of Jing De Chuan Deng Lu.The second section establishes the version that adopted of Jing De Chuan Deng Lui.The third section introduces the research method adopted by the paper. The fourth section briefly outlines the scope and content framework of this essay.The second chapter of this dissertation is the judgement of auxiliary verbs in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu. the first section introduces the research summary of auxiliary verbs.The second section and the third section is mainly on the basis of predecessors’ research to carry on the standard of semantic and syntactic of the auxiliary verbs. The fourth section summarizes the overview of the auxiliary verbs in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu.The third chapter of this dissertation is the semantic study of auxiliary verbs in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu. This chapter is going into the spindle of research in the article. From the perspective of semantics and pragmatics,The preceding of three sections describes epistemic model auxiliary verbs, deontic modal auxiliary verbs and dynamic modal auxiliarry verbs from the perspective of the use of frequency, semantic and pragmatic function. The fourth section mainly summarizes the overview use of the auxiliary verbs in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu.The fourth chapter of this dissertation is the syntactic research of auxiliary verbs in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu. The preceding of three sections faithfully studies the syntax of epistemic model auxiliary verbs, deontic modal auxiliary verbs and dynamic modal auxiliarry verbs in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu,mainly involves grammatical function, combination function and distribution of these three aspects.The fourth section mainly summarizes the overview syntactic features of the auxiliary verbs in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu.The fifth chapter of this dissertation is the combined form of auxiliary verbs in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu. The first section mainly introduces the research of predecessors. The second section,the third section and the fourth section mainly discusses the combined form of auxiliary verbs from the frequency of utilization, the characteristic of the combined form of auxiliary verbs,whether as a word,the law of collocation and so on. The fifth section mainly summarizes the combined form of auxiliary verbs in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu.The sixth chapter of this dissertation is the evolution study of auxiliary verbs in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu. The first section introduces the theory and a single syllable of auxiliary verbs exist polysemy in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu.The second section faithfully discusses the source, formation and development process of different modal type single syllable auxiliary verbs in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu.The third section mainly summarizes The semantic evolution of individual auxiliary verbs in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu.The seven Chapter of this dissertation is a conclusion. The first section summarizes the whole contents of auxiliary research in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu. The second section elucidates areas that this article needs to be improved in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu.
