Study The Adverbs In Jing De Chuan Deng Lu

Jing De Chuan Deng Lu was composed the history of Zen lamp by Daoyuan in Song Zhengzong years.It’s widely spread in Song,Yuan,Ming Dysnasty,especially in the religion literature of Song Dynasty.As Zen lamp,it does’ t only record the words of the Chan masters and the monks in detail,but also records some long Zen poems and monologues.So Jing De Chuan Deng Lu is can’t be ignored.And it’s also an important material to research the development of Chinese.I select the adverbs to do some research.I try to analyse and summarize the adverbs in the book Jing De Chuan Deng Lu amply.I hope that through my research people will know more about the adverbs of the late Tang Dynasty and the early Song Dynasty.And I hope to try my best to consummate the system of Chinese words.There are three parts in my thesis.One,introduction.The introduction devides into three parts,including the history of researching Chinese adverbs,introduction of Jing De Chuan Deng Lu and the research methods I used in the thesis. The introduction of Jing De Chuan Deng Lu involves the edition of the book,analysis of the corpus vlue,the summary of the research status.Two,adverbs of Jing De Chuan Deng Lu.First of all,I sum up how do some scholars define the word adverb.,and how do they divide adverbs into different categories.Then,I put forward my opinion of the two questions.There are 320 adverbs in the Jing De Chuan Deng Lu.Accoeding to my opinion and the combination the words in the book Jing De Chuan Deng Lu,I divided the words into seven categories,such as degree adverbs,scope adverbs,time adverbs,modal adverbs,negative adverbs,modal adverbs,link adverbs.Secondly,I give the definition of each kind of adverb,and I classify every kind of adverbs into different small classes according to the different meanings and grammatical functions.Then,I put every adverb in the Jing De Chuan Deng Lu into the different classes,and try to analyse and summarize the positions, the semantic orientation and other aspects of the words.Then I can summarize the grammatical fanction of the dverbs.Three,the characteristics of the adverbs in Jing De Chuan Deng Lu.First,I enumerate all the adverbs in the book,and make a simple analysis.Then,I analyse the double syllable adverbs.Finally, I analyse the semantic orientation of the adverbs in the book.
