The Comparative Analysis Of Chinese Textbooks In Thailand Between Experiencing Chinese And Happy Chinese

In recent years,the number of Chinese textbooks has increased dramatically with the rapid development of Chinese teaching in Thailand,however,the quality of textbooks still can not meet the requirements of Chinese teaching.This article selects two sets Chinese text books of high utilizationin rates in Thailand, “Experiencing Chinese” and“Happy Chinese”as the research object,we are trying to make a comparative analysis and sum up the advantages and disadvantages according to the theory of textbooks compiling and my experience in teaching in Thailand.On the basis of this, we put forward the principles and problems that should be paid attention to in the selection and compilation of Chinese textbooks in Thailand, and hope to be helpful for Chinese textbooks compiling of Thailand.This article consists of three parts:introduction,main body and conclusion.The second part is the main content of this paper,which is divided into three chapters.The introduction part mainly introduce the research origin of the topic,including the research object,as well as the theoretical basis,research methods and related literature review.The first chapter mainly elaborates the significance of the research of Chinese textbooks,and analyze the status of Chinese education and the usage of Chinese textbooks in Thailand.The second chapter analyzes the “Experiencing Chinese”and“Happy Chinese”about their principles,elements,text and cultural projects.The principles of compiling:we are analyzing from four aspects about pertinence、interest、practicability and scientificity.The elements of language : including grammar and vocabulary.We compare the grammar points about number, selection, arrangement and the vocabulary about number,level distribution,outline word.Text:we compare the form of text,the choice of topics and function settings.Culture : We compare two aspects from the communication culture that the text content reflect and the knowledge culture that the culture column present.The third chapter summarize the advantages and disadvantages, put forward the choise and compiling of Chinese textbooks in Thailand.The conclusion proposes some advice for overseas textbook.
