China and Vietnam are linked together. They also have a long history of friendly neighborhood bond since ancient times. There are a lot of correlation and similarity between the two countries. They impact each other, especially on language and culture.Due to the rapid growing Chinese economy and the increasing international status of China, more and more Vietnamese start to learn Chinese. Based on this background, the comparative study on Chinese and Vietnamese vocabulary meanings has become more urgent and practical. And the results may give more specific instruction to Chinese teaching in Vietnam.This research is aiming at the comparative method of studying on representative words of body semantic field of Chinese and Vietnamese; such as "head", "brain", "face" and "eye" based on cross-cultural communication perspective. Meanwhile, the researcher conducted a study on the teaching strategy of the representative words according to the result of the comparative study and made some effective suggestions.This research has five chapters:the first chapter, the comparative study on sense distribution of the representative words, "head" and "dau"; the second chapter, the comparative study on sense distribution of the representative words, "brain" and "nao"; the third chapter, the comparative study on sense distribution of the representative words, "face" and "mat"; the fourth chapter, the comparative study on sense distribution of the representative words, "eye" and "mat"; the final chapter, teaching strategy research of Chinese body semantic field through four words "head", "brain", "face"and "eye" base on cross-cultural communication perspective for the Vietnamese.
