| The political campaign of “Four Clean-ups†Movement was happened by Mao Zedong who estimates wrongly domestic class struggle situation from 1963 to 1966, while the situation of society was austere, the surroundings was nervous and Sino-soviet split intensified. The Movement happened at Suzhou was the inevitable result which cased by intended place executing central- government policy. From the October of 1962 to the spring of 1963, the preparation of the Movement was made under indications of the eighth the tenth plenary session of the communist party of China and the fourth party congress in Jiangsu province including rectificating styles of work and societ y and education of situation, class, general policy and improving the operation and management on the broad masses common. The programmatic document of the Movement was “double ten article†that was transmitted to district and it was carried by different communes at Suzhou zone and the outskirts of Suzhou respectively. Then, the movement was developed gradually followed by “Small Four Clean ups†movement focusing on clearing warehouse, properties, workpoints and accounts. Since the second half of 1964, Liu Shaoqi chaired the “Four Clean- ups†of national leadership. He intensified the Left thoughts and made “small four clean-ups†into “big four clean-upsâ€, which concentrating on clearing politics attaching clearing economy, organizations and thinking. The pro mulgation of 《article 23 》has corrected the“left †practice of the movement in a certain extent and correct an error narrowly. The 《article 23》made the issue of class struggle into Left points previously and systematic and theoretical the fault of theory and practice o f class struggle. The movement ended by in the “cultural revolution†finally. It has promoted the agricultural economic recovery and growth and improved the style of cadres, but the negative impact of the movement is far greater than positive aspects for intensifying grass-roots masses contradiction, disrupting the normal order of politics and contributing to the development of the theory and practice of the class struggle. |
