Chinese ideological and cultural history finished a transition from tradition to modern in 1895-1925. The gradual disintegration of the traditional political order not only made the state have no center of gravity, but also made the Chinese people generate great confusion and anxiety ideologically. It was the broader ideological crisis behind the potential political crisis. This crisis dominated lofty consciousness of Chinese people during the whole transition era. People realized that they need to get an infusion of fresh blood and possess the courage breaking through tradition under the domination of the crisis. People moved the sight out of rich ideal young students in order to get the power.Why choose the "youth"? It hid the profound historical background. For one thing, young students became the hope and future of salivating nation. For another, Chinese people connected national future with teenagers, and spread discussions of the old and new cultures with the action of schools, periodicals, party association and so on among teenagers. The "Youth" and "students" became the center of public opinions in the Qing Dynasty.Some people broadcasted opinions about the "Youth" that Chinese modern people with lofty ideals cherished medieval complex how to leave out in the he late Qing and early Republic period. In other words, it was an ideal, which Chinese people had a try from traditionalization to modernization. The thoughts of supporting competition and free equality was contrary to morality thoughts in Chinese traditional culture. Meanwhile, it was profound reflection on the changes of Chinese people’s social concept. Whether "old-new dispute" or fantasy for our nation, even some important opinions about the transformation of ideal personality all incarnated a strong sense of contemporaneity. The "Youth" served as an important means of enlightenment, infusing new blood for the lifeless nation, inspiring patriotic personages’commitments, establishing the determination to build a modern nation-state, causing their resonance and response and creating an enthusiastic time.
