| At the end of the qing dynasty and the beginning of the republic of China,domestic unrest and frequent regime changes were accompanied by the emergence of civil uprisings all over the country,which was a typical manifestation of the weakening of local control in the social transition period.Yunnan province,as a border province in the southwest,has all the unique geographical locations of the border province.Therefore,the study on the civil uprising is significantly different from other provinces.Taking 1901 to 1921 as the research period,this paper takes the issue of civil insurrection in yunnan as the research object,and takes yunnan as the research area.At the same time,based on archival historical data,historical data compilation,newspapers and periodicals and other materials,this paper makes a comprehensive exploration and analysis of the issue of civil insurrection in yunnan.There are four chapters in this paper,which mainly involve the factors,characteristics,countermeasures and influence of local governments.Firstly,this paper discusses the inducing factors of yunnan civil uprising in the late qing dynasty and the early republic of China,and divides them into internal and external factors.Secondly,the types and characteristics of yunnan civil uprisings in the late qing dynasty and the early republic of China were classified and described in detail.The countermeasures of yunnan local government to the civil uprising at that time were analyzed.Finally,based on historical data,the interaction between yunnan civil uprising and local society is discussed.Through a detailed study of the yunnan civil uprising in the late qing dynasty and the early republic of China,it is not difficult to see that the yunnan civil uprising in frontier provinces will involve more links with foreign forces invading China,and we should pay more attention to the profound impact of foreign forces on the civil uprising in border provinces. |
