The Research Of Wang Baixin’s Practical Thoughts

After JiaQing and DaoGuang dynasties,western aggressor breaking the door of China and Colonial rob to China by force. Chinese rule internal bureaucracy corruption,state finance dry up,the army fighting capacity is low,peasants’ uprisings,the disaster of flood and drought frequently occurred.The Qing dynasty faced the dangerous situations from at home and abroad. With strong sense of crisis,a large group of intellectuals raise whiffs of pragmatism ideological trend about social ills and reformations. A large group of practice-oriented thinkers represented by Gong zizhen, Lin zexu and Wei yuan,who led to the main society trend of thoughts.They have began to pay attention to current affairs and politics,criticize the reality,advocate social reforms,uphold real learning,look around the world and keep a watchful eye on foreign countries. Wang baixin was a HuBei personage in late Qing Dynasty(JiaQing,DaoGuang,XianFeng and TongZhi dynasties).Who have already witnessed the social unrest situations with the internal disorder and foreign invasion.Under the practical thoughts influence,Wang Baixin has written Bai ZhuTang’s Complete Works based on his own experience and knowledge. In addition,to save the political situation in late Qing dynasty,Wang baixin has advanced many creative thoughts on politics,financial condition,military theory and water control etc.These creative thoughts Were appreciated and accepted by Lin zexu,Zeng guofan,Zuo zongtang and Hu Linyi usually.The article combines main content of practical thoughts and the mutational political situation in the late Qing Dynasty.The article focuses on personal experience and works of Wang baixin,and goes on detailed analysis and demonstration from politics,financial condition,military theory and water control in the late Qing Dynasty to Wang Baixin’s Practical Thoughts.Furthermore,this article make our best endeavor in fully understand Wang Baixin and his works,promote the research on it for us to master details of practical thoughts.This article is divided into three parts.The part of introduction,first of all, I introduce the Wang Baixin’s life and works.Secondly,I make a systematic introduction of remaining studies about Wang Baixin.Moreover,I reviews the related literature and have a classification analysis.The part of body,Firstly,Basing on the Wang Baixin’s life and major works,I analysis of the formation of Wang Baixin’s practical thoughts from three aspects:family academic and early education,widely traveled experiences and made friends with celebrities,the stimulation of social crisis in the late Qing Dynasty and the rise of real learning ideological trend. Secondly,I introduce the main content of Wang Baixin’s Practical Thoughts from four chapters:politics,financial condition,military theory and water control.In the part of conclusion,I make a comprehensive evaluation on Wang Baixin’s practical thoughts from sources,content and influence.At last,I make an objective evaluation of historic limitations of Wang Baixin’s practical thoughts.
