The quality of teaching is related to the survival and development of colleges and universities. Because the philosophy of customer satisfaction expand in the field of higher education, students will be treated as customers, they are consumers of educational services, and the object and the major players in higher education. Students’ satisfaction has became an important measure of the advantages and disadvantages of the school curriculum. For foreign students, Chinese language courses in Universities are consumer objects.The schools need to clearly grasp the students’ degree of satisfaction of Chinese language courses, and know the variety of factors of students’ satisfaction on each course,try to guide the reform and development of Chinese language courses, at the same time, find all kinds of problems exist in teaching, and improve the teaching level.Foreign students pay more attention to speaking course, because it is the most basic course teaching student speaking skills and exchanging information during their daily lives, but the surveys and studies related to students’Chinese speaking course, are difficult to visually evaluate students’ satisfaction and the existing problems. It is also restricted the reform of Chinese speaking course and its development. This study investigate the Chinese elementary speaking course on the perspective of students.This study selected 100 students as the object in School of International Education at Yunnan University, discuss their satisfaction of Chinese elementary speaking course base on the result of questionnaires, combining The quantitative and qualitative analysis. In addition, we also randomly selected 7 students join the open interviews, combined with author’feeling during the teaching progress to complete this investigation. Finally, I propose targeted and feasible suggestions for the development of Chinese speaking course from three aspects:students, teachers, teaching contents and process.
