In Chinese teaching,"speaking" is an indispensable part among the four foundation Chinese language courses.Therefore,the author conducts research on how to increase the interest and improve the practicality and effectiveness of oral teaching.Taking "Easy Learning Chinese" as an example,this paper attempts to combine the multimodal discourse analysis theory with the elementary Chinese oral teaching to design and practice,and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages.Then,the author designs a multi-modal teaching mode selection framework.This thesis comprehensively explains the theoretical basis of multi-modal discourse analysis theory applicable to oral teaching design and then discusses the specific application of multi-modal theory in elementary Chinese oral teaching class.The author carries out the teaching implementation of multimodal teaching design and comprehensively evaluates the effect of the teaching practice through the methods of classroom observation,questionnaire survey and interview and puts forward the teaching suggestions and summarizes the research conclusions and deficiencies.Through the teaching design and practice,the advantages of multimodal teaching are obvious.It can combine modern advanced teaching techniques to create more realistic communication scenarios in the classroom,gather and present various modal resource information,and ensure a rich and varied language input.Students can receive various sensory stimuli in class and deepen the memory and experience of language.It also can increase the fun of classroom teaching and improve students' participation and enthusiasm in class.Based on the multi-modal theory,a multi-modal teaching mode selection framework has been designed for teaching.
