Environmental justice is an important concept in environmental ethics. It is a realistic trend of the development of contemporary environmental ethics. The study of environmental justice began in the United States, and it caused a strong response in the world. Following the 1971 Rawls’"a theory of justice" was published, some environmental lawyer successively put forward the environmental justice, intergenerational justice, interpersonal justice, environmental rights and claims.From the source of justice, the paper find the source of the theory of environmental justice, and Rawls’s "theory of justice" to do a thorough explanation. From intra generational justice, intergenerational justice, kinds of justice three aspects to discuss the predicament of contemporary environmental justice issues, mainly in the area of environmental justice, the developed countries and the developing countries in the environmental justice issues conflict, future generations and the previous generation people how to allocate resources, animal rights and interests can’t guarantee the problem and so on. Also put forward the solution to the problem in theory and practice. In the end, this paper finds that no matter in the generation of environmental justice, intergenerational environmental justice is a kind of international environmental justice issue, it can be changed into the problem of the distribution of benefits and the recognition of human rights.
