Study On The Plastic Arts And Inheritance Of The Traditional Vehicle For China Northern Minorities

The traditional vehicle of China’s northern minorities has a long history and unique national characteristics. It is both the wisdom of the minorities in our country and an important part of national culture. With the regional unique natural resources and according to local conditions, the northern minority artisans created a large quantities of traditional vehicles with beautiful design, perfect function which is convenient to travel. It’s not only reflect the living conditions, production and aesthetic features at the early stage of the northern nomadic hunting peoples, but also carries a even more important national cultural information.In this paper, we mainly study the traditional vehicle of northern minorities from the perspective of historical evolution, varieties division, production techniques, and the aesthetic features. It is vital for us to understand the development of vehicles culture of the northern minorities, and to inherit the traditional handicrafts and also improve people’s aesthetic consciousness. And we are going to explore and find the way of its expression in the modern environmental art design. Therefore, put the northern minorities traditional vehicle culture on the road to sustainable development from a more innovative and intuitive perspective.The thesis consists of five parts, the introduction describes the purpose and significance of the research, as well as the research status, contents and methods, goals and the structure.
