As a kind of popular and elegant art, music has been one of the important leisure elements in people’s life. With the rapid development of mobile Internet technology, the music APP on Smartphone has gradually replaced the music software on PC and become the main carrier for people to enjoy music. In the user-oriented era, an excellent music APP must have a good user experience in order to stand out from the competition in the mobile music market, and all good user experiences are derived from the deep understanding of user’s needs, cognition and emotion.From the perspective of psychology, this research takes psychology theory and methods of user experience design as the research basis, and takes the most representative music App products and users as the research object, and eventually designs a music APP interface prototype for IOS. The research is mainly divided into four stages:First, define the concept of music APP and user experience, summarize the knowledge of psychology related to product design and. user research to build a theoretical and methodological basis by literature review; Second, give an insight into the music APP user’s primary characteristics, find the basic needs of users by user interview and cognitive walkthrough; Third, observe and analyze the music APP user’s behaviors, read the user’s psychological process, find the common usability problems by user testing; Fourth, contrast and analyze the mainstream music APPs in the market, draw lessons from excellent design patterns, design a music APP prototype interface with good experience by convention survey.
