| The poet-monks of early Qing Dynastyin Zhejiang not only the numbers is large but also the poetic achievements is prominent.However,the recent academic research about poet-monks of early Qing Dynasty mainly involve in Wuzhong, Lingnan and Dianqian, there are only a few studies relate to the large-scale group of poet-monks of early Qing Dynasty in Zhejiang.This tex tteases out 204 poet-monks of early Qing Dynasty in Zhejiang by collecting and analysising plenty of documents.And on this basis,the article research of the poet-monks of early Qing Dynastyin Zhejiang in the aspect of the distribution, group type,poetic creation,literature contribution, etc.Full-text consists of six chapters, specific content as follows.Chapters â… and â…¡ is a general overview of the poet-monks of early Qing Dynasty in Zhejiang.The first chapter,on the basis of quantity statistics,has a detailed analyze and research in the distribution and its causes of the spatial and religion of the poet-monks of early Qing Dynastyin Zhejiang.The second chapter divides the poet-monks of early Qing Dynasty in Zhejiang into three parts according to their attitudes towards to the Qing rulers,which including the old fogy of poet-monks,the conscriptivepoet-monks and the poet-monksout of the secular,then studying their types,characteristics and causes.Among them, the old fogy of poet-monks usually are adherents of a Ming Dynasty,they mourn over the Ming Dynasty and do not to cooperate with the new dynasty.The conscriptive poet-monks are called up by the Qing ruler after 1644.They are close to the new dynasty in their political attitudes,and becoming a spokesperson in Buddhism for the new.The poet-monks out of the secular are those who hasn’t show political bias after the the downfall of the Ming Dynasty.They stick to the Pure Land out of the secular,and preaching.The third chapter to the fifth chapter is the study of poetry literature of the poet-monks of early Qing Dynasty in Zhejiang.The third chapter discusses the phenomenon of the heritage of the poetry in Tiantong temple, Lingyin temple and Jingci temple,all the temples are in Zhejiang.The phenomenon of the heritage of the poetry in templeformed in the end of Ming and the beginning of Qing.Itgenerally has a formation, development and decline phases,thus poet-monks involved in the third chapter is not limited to the early Qing Dynasty,but involves various poet-monks in the Qing Dynasty.The fourth chapter discusses the poetic subject matter of the poet-monks of early Qing Dynastyin Zhejiang,four subjects are analyzed in detail,including the poetry written in mountain, poetry about preaching,poetry for communication and the poetry for expressing political opinion.The fifth chapter discusses the creation characteristics of the poet-monks of early Qing Dynasty in Zhejiang.I think it havs several features,inherited in the family and teached by literati,regional trend,Buddhist influence,etc.Chapter VI discusses the literary contribution of the poet-monks of early Qing Dynasty in Zhejiang, especially in poet-monks of ancient China,poetry of Qing Dynasty and local literature.Moreover,there are two Appendixes at the end of text. Appendix I is the relationship of the Zen poet-monks in Zhejiang,including the system of Linji andthe system of Caodong.Appendix II is the index of the poems which written by thepoet-monks of early Qing Dynasty in Zhejiang. |
