Research On The Impact Of Service Modularity On Innovation Performance

With the rapid development of modern service industry, the services modularation theory is also being concerned by more and more scholars, as a theory that can explan the services industrial layout and the labor division or cooperation between enterprises.It can subvert the existing industrial structure through the standard interface rule of system and unique framework of service innovation.At present, the research of service modularity is mainly focused on financial services and IT services.But with the continuously deepen of Industry convergence.This thesis combined with cultural and creative industries discovers how the service modularity affects innovation performance in realistic background Through theoretical analysis, case analysis and empirical analysis three levels,What are the types,factors and effects of this type of influence.This paper is divided into several parts:1. This thesis defines the concept and constituent elements of service modularity and the concept connotation and measurement system of innovation performance.2. This thesis expounds the external and internal dimensions of service modularity and explains its meaning.3. From the perspective of theoretical deduction this thesis analysis how service modularity affects the innovation performance through the external and internal dimensions.4. This thesis explores the typical cultural and creative industries through exploratory case analysis and draws form and result of the impact of service modularity on innovation performance.5. By collecting data of ten typical cultural and creative enterprises,this thesis measures the level of service modularity and innovation performance through Service Modular Measurement Model and Game cross efficiency DEA model in the way of empirical analysis.According to the above research, the following conclusions are drawn:Service modularity will affect innovation performance,This effect can be carried out in two aspects: endogenous and exogenous dimensions,and this effect is generally positive.Through the Process outsourcing activities in External dimension of Service module,Innovation performance may be reduced.After the service module is over a certain limit,Service modularity also has a negative impact on innovation performance.Throughout the full text the author creatively carried out several aspects of the research. :First of all, this thesis establishes the service modular structure system of endogenous and exogenous two dimensions.Secondly, this thesis divides the six dimensions of the two dimensions of service modularity and discusses its influence on innovation performance and results.Then, this thesis analyzes the impact of service modularity on innovation performance from the two dimensions of endogenous and exogenous respectively.Finally, this thesis establishes the service modular measurement method based on the endogenous dimension and the DEA based innovation performance measurement method which is based on the game cross efficiency.
