Research On Wayaobu Conference’s Historical Status

After the “September 18 th Incident”, since the Chinese nation has undergone continuous aggression by Japan, it has reached a dangerous moment of national peril.Under such circumstances, the Communist Party of China duly held Wayaobu Conference, which plays an important role and has special status in Chinese revolutionary cause. The Wayaobu Conference gave scientific analysis on social changes and features in China during this period, established the Anti-Japanese National United Front, which was the new political route and policies in the new period of Communist Party of China, opened the prelude of transition from Civil War to War of Resistance, promoted the full-outbreak of Anti-Japanese War and made a great contribution to build the Chinese Communist Party. People in the world remember the resolutions and report made by Mao Zedong after the conference, which was not only the main content of Mao Zedong’s military thought, but also the beginning of the New Democracy theory of Communist Party of China. The nationalism stressed in the conference, to a large extent, returned an attack to the Chinese Kuomintang’s criticism on the legitimacy of the Chinese Communist Party, as well as became an important step toward nationalism for the Chinese Communist Party. It is worth making thorough study on Wayaobu Conference, for its significant role in the history of Chinese modern and the Chinese Communist Party.This paper discusses the historical status of Wayaobu Conference. The paper is composed of two parts: one is the background and conditions of the conference, and the other is the historical status and influence. In this paper, the author makes a deep analysis of the background and conditions of Wayaobu Conference in order to state the importance and timeliness of it. The historical status and influence of Wayaobu Conference are elaborated from six aspects, including Anti-JapaneseNational United Front,War of Resistance promotion, Party Building, Mao Zedong’s military thought, New Democracy and nationalism.
