Report On Interpreting Talk Show Vision: China’s Wisdom In Energy Conservation And Environmental Protection Industry

As a basic means of cross-cultural communication, interpretation is an important link and bridge of international exchanges and cooperation. With the development of globalization, television has become an important mass media for China to communicate with other countries and television program interpretation is of greater and greater demand. On this occasion, television talk show interpretation emerges and will be growing rapidly. The report is accomplished on the basis of interpreting television talk show---Vision: China’s Wisdom in Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Industry. Under the guidance of the Interpreting Dynamic RDA Model, the author analyzes on the dynamic process of the interpreting version, points out the problems and summarizes corresponding strategies for each process after serious and careful reflection. The report consists of four chapters: task description, process description, dynamic interpreting process analysis, conclusion and deficiency of the research. Chapter one will give a brief introduction of the subject background, television talk show interpretation, and energy conservation and environmental protection industry. Chapter two mainly describes the preparation work before the interpreting practice and the implementing process. Chapter three makes specific analyses on typical sentences of the interpreting version under the guidance of the Dynamic RDA Model and sums up relevant listening, memorizing and expressing strategies in talk show interpretation. In chapter four, a conclusion is given based on the above analyses; the deficiency of the research and the direction of future improvement are pointed out.
