The description of the unconscious activity and unconscious behaviors in Dostoevsky’s novels is concerned by the academics, but it is still not enough for the research of its regularity, characteristics and function. The research of this problem could improve the overall artistic features of Dostoevsky’s novels. Using the theory of Freud’s psychoanalysis and narratology will explain the characteristic of the description of the unconscious activity and unconscious behaviors of Dostoevsky’s novels in a better way. This research is divided into three parts; the first part of the research is trying to summarize every type of unconscious activities and unconscious behaviors in Dostoevsky’s novels. The second part is trying to analyze the relationship between the description of the unconscious activity and unconscious behaviors and the skill of narrating. The third part is trying to analyze the function of the description of the unconscious activity and unconscious behaviors in Dostoevsky’s novels. The regularity, characteristics and function of unconscious activity and unconscious behaviors in Dostoevsky’s novels will be understood accurately in this research. |
