China’s workplace novels at the beginning of 21 st century, either from the enthusiastic writing of the creative groups, or the passionate sought of reader groups; either the publishers increase the scale of marketing, or the book market sales; either the mass media hype and a whoop and a holler, or adapted into TV, movies, drama turns to broadcast; and different kinds of workplace novels are also emerging in a variety of current methods; all are objectively indicate the workplace’s presence and development has become a literary and cultural phenomenon in contemporary China that can not be ignored.Workplace novels came into existence has its special survival context, including cultural context and literary context; cultural context mainly reflected in the prevailing of consumer culture, the integration of multinational culture; literature and literary context mainly the result of literature, market and feminist’s union.The workplace novels’ narrative strategy is mainly reflected in two aspects of narrative mode and narrative skill, narrative modes including narrative perspective, narrative structure, narrative language and narrative time; narrative skills mainly include face reality, reduce fantasy; "naturally to develop the plot"; a variety of psychological description of characters; set the ideal outcome.It should be noted that the current workplace novels are of variable quality, lack of high-quality goods, blindly coping, stylistics is not strong enough, this are obviously unfavorable factors for the workplace novels’ survive and sustainable development. However, in the current background of consumer culture and the modern corporate system, the workplace novels has more reasons for its survival and development, insiders and readers have full confidence of the new style: they predict that in the next few years workplace novels will still ahead.
