Crabapple is one of the traditional flower in China, it’s rich cultural implication has attracted to it’s echo.this paper based on Song dynasty Crabapple poems as the research object,and this paper tries to research its creation condition, literary significance and aesthetic significance, artistic expression under the long-term deep historical and cultural background.In Song dynasty, commodity economy and floriculture industry are prosperity and developing,the social and political environment is relatively stable, the literati status was rising, the pursuit of leisure and elegant life of the literati, enjoy flower become a kind of elegant way of life, is people. The wide application of garden art also promoted the development of Chinese flowering crabapple.
