A Study On The Rhyming Of Zhao Mengfu’s Poetry

It is one of the important content of the study of pronunciation on Chinese that make use of rhyme in poems on Chinese phonological research.Yuan dynasty is a signifucant period on Chinese phonologe,in which rhyming meterial help us explore the situation of its phonologe.According to the different poetry forms,paper discusses the rhyming condition of Zhao mengfu’s poetry,by which unites the poem rhyming word,concludes rhyming system,contract with guang yun《广韵》and 18 categories of Chinese pronunciation in Yuan dynasty,in order to find the characteristic and analysis the discipline of the unique rhyming phenomenon.Based on the above analysis,we can draw the conclusion as folllowing:First of all,the modern poetry system of Zhao mengfu is similar to the general poetry system(“Pingshuiyun”system).Moreover,the archaic poetry system,to a large degree,is comform to the Chinese pronunciation system.However,there are some different situations such as contraction between different categories and phonetics changing in individual word.Secondly,author attempts to explain the cause of those unique phenomenon.1.Imitation of ancient rhyming feature.Those phenomenon is reflect an archaize situation as shijing《诗经》.2.Historical phonetic changingFor instance,different terminal vowel mixed greatly which is the feature of modern Chinese pronunciation.3.Dialect characteristicFor example,categry Yu(鱼)contract with Zhi(支) which is the remarkable feature of Wu dialect.Besides,rhinolalia without distinction is also reflect the characteristic of Wu dialect.
