As a representative of the early Romantic music of Franz Schubert, Schubert’s musical style is not only romanticism, but also combines classical elements. In its musical creations piano sonata plays an important role.The object of this study is the B Flat major Sonata(D960), which is the last sonata of Schubert. The author focuses on the B Flat major Sonata(D960), to study the romanticism characteristics of Schubert. Through analyzing the structure of the track, the romantic feelings and the vocal music, to briefly discusses the characteristics of Schubert piano repertoire in the aspect of structure arrangement, harmony and the use of the transfer and study the national characteristic, the drama characteristic as well as the vocal music characteristic. combined with their understanding of the repertoire played after, to analyze the philosophy and style of Schubert’s music and regard it as the basis of the study of the characteristics of the romantic music, so that the performance skills can be fully reflected and fused to express the meaning of music.
