Psychosocial Adaptability is a complicated physiological and psychological process.Research on Psychosocial Adaptability of armed police recruits has theoretical value andpractical significance. Even though, due to lacking of the specific psychologicalintervention methods, and different attitudes on the Psychosocial Adaptability of recruits,seldom research can be found on this area in our country. Additionally, as more concern onthe recruit’s psychosocial problem, and the requirement of psychological intervention forarmed police officers, it makes having systemically research on psychosocial adaptabilityof armed police recruits possible.Based on the literature investigation and research, as well as the expert interview, it isable to investigate and research Psychosocial Adaptability from following three factors,psychological health status, self-efficacy, and coping style. In this study, it takes the aforce armed police recruits as the research object, uses the repeated measure-randomizedcontrolled study, from the above three factors, researches on the Psychosocial Adaptabilitydynamic variation rule and general psychosocial intervention of armed police recruitsduring their recruit training. Through the research, it is found that:1. By observing, the recruits, who just joined in arm in first two weeks, show anxiety, depression, interpersonal tension, etc. after systemically and targeted psychologicalintervention, the recruits in treatment group turn to better psychological health status thanthe compared group, especially the somatization and Hostility factor. Tips, it shouldimprove the content of the psychological intervention in psychological counseling.2. After three months recruits training, before they joined in the companies, it is found,both two groups have improvement. And the treatment group has higher improvementthan the compared group. This reflects the psychological intervention implementing haveobvious positive effect on Self-Efficacy in recruits training.3. In first two weeks, the proportion of negative coping style have no distinguishedbetween treatment groups and compared groups. After three months training and sevendays before they joined in the companies, compared with the number in the first twoweeks, the proportion of negative coping style have obvious decline, meanwhile thecompared group has no obvious change. Tips, psychological intervention implement havepositive effect on Coping Style in recruit training.4. Results, the psychological intervention in whole recruit training process all havepositive effect on psychosocial adaptability of new recruit. However, it has no obviousimprovement in some certain factor. Tips, psychosocial adaptability probably also beinfluenced by other factors, it is suggested to edit the reasonable, effective andtargeted questionnaire, which typically focus on the armed police recruits.In this study, through the expert interview, literature investigation and research, itdetermines the factors of psychosocial adaptability, but there still no the more targetedwhole treatment process. It is suggested to edit the more targeted questionnaire, analyzethe reliability and efficiency of it, implement it in troops as soon as possible, and supplythe service of enhancing the combat capability.
