The Construction Of The Modern Political Trust In China

Political trust has a long history,which means public’s potential political identity andpolitical support to the authorities. At present, China is in a critical period of socialtransformation with a variety of social problems and social contradictions. Political trustfaces risks and challenges,and it will threat the legitimacy and political stability once itgoes down to a certain level.This severe fact makes how to strengthen the construction ofpolitical trust during the period of transition become an issue with great practicalsignificance.The structure and main contents of the paper are: Firstly, we use the method ofliterature analysis and normative analysis to comb the basic theory of politicaltrust,including the origins of political trust, its meaning and value; Secondly,analyze themeaning and the features of modern political trust through comparing with the traditionalpolitical trust,which provides direction and goals to the construction of modern politicaltrust in China;Then,based on the features of the modern political trust,we analysis thecurrent situation of China’s political trust by using the method of case analysis and causalanalysis;Finally,according to the theoretical basis and realistic basis, we put forwardcorresponding countermeasures to construct modern political trust in China.This paper argues that:As a higher political trust, the modern political trust fits inwith the modern, democratic and rule of law society. It has some more features andadvantages compared with the traditional political trust,so it’s an important goal ofChina;On the special background of social transformation,we should achieve the moderntransformation of political trust gradually,through improving the various of political andeconomic systems to enhance the institutional trust;cultivating modern citizens;enrichingresources of political trust;raising the level of institutionalization of political distrust.Sothat it can resolve the current social conflicts, strengthen the party and the government’slegitimacy and maintain social stability.
